What is covered in the Robotics course with Embedded Systems in Arduino Board?
This Robotics Complete course covers all the essential aspects of robotics including mechanism design, electronics, programming, sensors and actuators required to build your own robots. You will learn the basics of microcontrollers and work with the popular Arduino board to design, build and program basic robots. The course starts with introductions to core robotics components and builds knowledge step by step till ancap students to develop their own robotic prototypes.
-
What programming skills are required for this course?
No prior programming experience is required but basic understanding of C/C++ will be helpful to learn faster. The course focuses on Arduino IDE and uses Arduino-specific languages like C/C++ for programming microcontrollers. You will learn how to write, compile and debug basic programs. Concepts covered include variables, data types, functions, selection and repetition structures. By the end of the course, you will be comfortable with Arduino programming for interfacing sensors and driving motors.
-
What hardware will I need to complete this course?
The course materials provide instructions to build basic robotic platforms. Students must have an Arduino UNO board, assorted sensors, motors, chassis kit etc. A list of all required components is provided upfront so that students can procure them either from the institute or online suppliers. For sensor interfacing and motor control exercises, the Arduino board and basic components are sufficient which are quite affordable. However, to develop more advanced prototypes, additional accessories may be required which can be discussed with mentors.
